    So, it’s a good thing, isn’t it? My finger rises perplexedly up to my third eye, where, with bowed head and closed eye I contemplate the meaning of the Beatitudes, how blessed are the peacemakers and who they are the sons of. And what rough beast they shall see.

    There are some who go in for the fundie / millenarian thing. It’s not necessary for wanting to defend our civilization, though.

    I too will do my part in defending our civilization. And defending the right of other civilizations to coexist within it and without it. And I believe that the preponderance of the world’s populace, if not the world order, will be with me on that. I must see abuses here, where I live, and work daily in my own way to correct them though.
