Were the Turkish police helping the throat-slitting jihadists?

The investigation into the murders of the Bible publishers in Turkey - two of them converts from Islam to Christianity - turns up some disturbing possibilities.

1826 The Murder Of The Christian Indians in North America in the Year 1782- A Narrative of Facts (Dublin: Bentham & Hardy, 1826), paper wraps. An interesting work on the missionary Christianizing of the America Indians in an effort to befriend them and share the land peacefully. Beginning with an outline of the Indian situation in the war between Britain and her colonies in 1775 and 1776, it describes the lack of food resulting from the over hunting of land occupied by troops from both sides. It explains in detail the exploitation of the indians by the Christian communities in St. Louis, Pittsburgh, and Erie and concludes with a most detailed account of the robbing & scalping of a group of Indians who were invited to Salem for a visit. A fascinating and unfortunate early account of what was to become of the entire Indian Nation. Good condition; a rare imprint. From the Henry E. Luhrs Collection.

I guess if you hate the civilization that spawned you, you don’t care about threats to it.

I do not at all hate the civilization that spawned me. Actually, my genes were over in Duetschland then, warring over how and what to brew beer in and a few other things, like within Christianity and it wasn’t pretty. Another one of those if you are not with us you are against us statements. I abhor the kind of violence done in the name of God (if Allah is Him too) over there. No question about it, and I will respond to actions against my civilization. Threats there are, but until convinced that there is imminent continuing peril, I will not opt to preempt, like we did, foolishly, before. Perhaps if that had panned out as we were told it would, I would feel differently and be awed to go elsewhere to rid the earth of its present peril. We part ways over the immanency and the imensity of the peril. The intensity will foreshadow the always sorrow and the pity of world war iii or is it iv??

You gotta be an idiot to believe this. Much more Christians are being murdered in Christian countries.
