Positively Kerry-esque
The Freedom-Haters’ standard-bearer channels Senator Global Test. Shoot off your mouth, find out another key constituency (or perceived constituency, which, in this case takes some perceiving, since we’re talking about the Israel-hating Abbas) didn’t care for what you said, and then backtrack. Hope those with really big megaphones stay all over this.

Had the “race card” played on you yet?

No. As in how?

You hate Obama or even won’t be voting for him, so you’re a racist. I have been called that and now won’t even joke about it. I just cannot stand this man who is the phoniest I’ve ever encountered in my years as a citizen. I was in Chicago yesterday so picked up a Tribune. Front page story about the governor’s ties to this Rezko character which they say will be very hard for him to overcome. Not O, though, no? What a tap dancer. Did I just say that?

Obama—when confronted with the story about his real estate fairy, the now convicted and now imprisoned political fixer Tony Rezko—at least had the decency to say he shouldn’t have become involved with Rezko.
And the other day, in response to a question raised in this column last week, the Obama campaign said that if elected president, Obama would not pardon Rezko or commute his sentence. “No, he would not,” a spokesman told us.
After Rezko’s conviction on federal corruption and influence peddling charges, Obama felt the need to reiterate what he told the Tribune editorial board weeks ago, that while he’s risen in Chicago politics, he hasn’t been stained by it.
“I don’t think so,” he said in an interview last week with WFLD-TV about whether coming from the cesspool of Chicago politics would hurt his campaign.
“I mean I was not ever considered to be part of that particular culture. I knew folks, I worked with them. But you know, I think my reputation has always been somebody who took the integrity of my office very seriously.
“And people will judge me ultimately on what I do, and not on what other people do,” Obama said. And people should also judge him in the context of Chicago politics, the crucible where he was formed.
The admittedly traditionally Repubby Trib is abuzz over Fr. Flagler’s gaffe too. Racist speech?

Cardinal Francis George suspended Pfleger this week after the priest mocked Hillary Clinton from the pulpit of Senator Barack Obama’s former church, Trinity United Church of Christ.
In that sermon last month, Pfleger said the New York senator felt “entitled” to the Democratic nomination for president because she is white. Obama is the presumptive nominee.

Glad to see you smell the odor coming off Obama.
Who accused you of racism?
I’ve thought about how I’ll respond if someone pulls that shit on me. I’ll tell them to go fuck their mother in the left eye socket till her retinal jelly squirts out. I don’t have a racist bone in my body and I won’t stand for being accused of it. If I get shouted down with such accusations while I try to address what my real problems are with him, I’ll assume a stance that indicates I’m ready for fisticuffs.

He’ll be unbeatable though, with Hillie as his running mate. It will be more of a vote for a change. Guess what! Bush’s two Republican terms have not sat well at all with the majority of Americans. Those popularity polls are real. And what are we if not a democracy?

Two articles in paper today: Hoosier’s real income up only 3% over past 5 years and 65,000 applied for 2000 positions at the new Honda plant in the area, only 500 of which are working now. It’s the economy again, with a vengeance, kind bloggie sir!

See my post below entitled “Beneath the Din, The Truth Still Exists.” Are you saying that the American people are such brain-dead lemmings with no economic sense that they’ll vote for a “change” even if it obviously means truly wrecking our way of life?
You may be right. There may be that many stupid people who think the government can eliminate business cylces and deliver uninterrupted economic bliss.
