   Trivia: Paul is the godfather of rock guitarist Steve Miller of the Steve Miller Band, to whom Paul gave his first guitar lesson

   I found that looking him up on-line. Good chance the bloggie already knew dat though, from what I know of him.

   In fact, Steve Miller’s dad was best man at Les Paul & Mary Ford’s wedding.

   and she left him because she tired of the road life, so they say. Guess we know who Les was really married to. Still playin’ at 93. Wow!

   “Les Paul is a legend. He’s a very old man who can still rock out like no other. He’s also apparently got the libido of a 20 something year old because he cracks sex jokes left and right. Well worth your time and money if you like jazz and comedy all rolled into one.”

   Perhaps that’s why Mary got quite contrary?

   He was funny indeed. His bass player was this babe-alicious blonde gal, a truly moist specimen. Most of his racy humor was directed her way. Her job was to roll her eyes and do the “Oh, Les, you rascal” response.
   She turned up the heat when she took a vocal on “Is You Is Or Is You Ain’t My Baby.”
