Preposterous! The local paper has an editorial on this headed “University’s Overreaction Crossed the Line.”
A segment: “It should go without saying that our universities, as places of higher learning and the main battlefield in the democratic clash of ideas, should never be engaged in pure censorship. And university officials, as those directly in charge of the stewardship of that intellectual legacy, should have recognized that fact before the school turned into a national laughingstock.”
