Well, what would you expect other than an effort to talk to those bozos by a new administration. Surely we still speak from a position of huge relative military might, so why not give it a try? The author questions “when will Obama cave?” Well, with reactions like that, likely soon, maybe by June or the next full moon. Though for bloggies like you it won’t come a bit too soon. Anyhow, Bush already admitted to enough mistakes over there. More tell alls to come. Especially awaiting Colin Powell’s.

Colorado Springs, CO (Sports Network) – The United States women’s badminton team was denied entry into Iran after being invited to participate in the Fajr International Badminton Tournament this weekend.

Eight athletes and four coaches and officials were set to visit Tehran for the event.

“USA Badminton is very disappointed that our team did not receive visas to enter Iran and therefore our women’s team will not be able to participate in the 2009 Fajr International Badminton Tournament in Tehran,” said USA Badminton in a statement.

This is no way to play ball, I mean cock, I mean shuttlecock.
We may indeed have to quash the bastahds. But the State Dept. is not going apeshit over it. Yet.
