How it’s done and how it’s not done
I’m coming to think that Reasonable Gentleman Syndrome is about the most despicable character trait a human being claiming to have a passion for governance can exhibit. People with RGS don’t even deserve our spit in their faces.
Compare the fiery, principled way John Cornyn is going about his assumption of the leadership of the National Republican Senatorial Council with the cowardly, contemptible way Arlen Specter is exposing his underbelly, inviting the FHers to claw out his entrails.
This “New Hampshire GOP activist” Tom Rath needs to get the hell off the stage, too. (See article on Cornyn.) You don’t take “time out from rhetoric.” TCM sure isn’t. He was up in Elkhart this morning, lying to the American public and softening it up for socialist tyranny.
These Reasonable Gentlemen need to switch parties. Better yet, get the hell out of politics and become lottery ticket peddlers, something better suited to their level of substance as human beings.
