On the heels of Harold Koh, here comes Rosa Brooks
Now we’re going to have hard-left freedom-loathing radicals in high positions at State and the Pentagon.
If anyone needs further proof that TCM is transforming the United States of America into some horrifying product of his perverse personal vision, it’s due to willful blindness.

Wonder what Robert Gates has to say about this? I too would like to hear the administration’s justification for this appointment. I don’t mind her opinions, which she is free to utter, but to place her in such a position at the Pentagon does not appear to make much sense. Checks and balances? The voice of the feminist civilian left? I dunno, I always think of the camel as being a horse designed by a committee. I happen to think that she will be largely continually “shot down” so to speak, in meetings. That is the way these things work. Does Congress have to approve her appointment? I see nothing in her background on Wiki, other than that she is a political columnist, to justify this appointment either. Shifts in power sure have their radical aspects.
She is the daughter of Barbara Ehrenreich–an American feminist, democratic socialist, sociologist and political activist.

Didn’t know whe was Eherenreich’s daughter, but it makes perfect sense and speaks volumes about the kind of freedom-hating post-American that TCM is inclined to enlist.
