The deep and profound spiritual illness of The Most Equal Comrade

Posted in Barack Obama at 5:29 pm by Administrator

TCM has a 56 percent disapproval rating, per Rasmussen.

He’s unfazed, of course.  I don’t mean in the way that past presidents who have been utterly convinced that the course they were charting was going to be ultimately good for America.  As we’ve stated many times here at BN, the phrase “good for America” is completely meaningless to him, since he sees his mission as transforming what we know as America into something else entirely.  No, his dismissal of his abysmal approval numbers is based on his still-growing sense of how wonderful he is.  He doesn’t even get riled by internecine FHer rancor.  His antidote is to exhort the FHers to be even more united behind his vision and agenda.  He’ll drive anything and anyone – his nation, his party, his support structure – over the cliff for the sake of his own glorification.

That’s who strides into the Oval Office every day.

Deep and profound spiritual illness? Over the top, as usual, from the bloggie, who really hates this guy, we know. Does the bloggie really think he’s qualified to diagnose spiritual maladies? If so, what’s his cure, other than to think like him? If I didn’t detest the expression “throwing up a little in my mouth” so much I’d say I’m almost about to.

And we have this quitter of a Governor on Fox News yesterday suggesting your detested TCM can win in 2012 if he initiates war with Iraq. What balls! They must be in her mouth.

Why do you think TCM is such a fabulous president and marvelous human being?

Have you noticed the trend among pundits lately to count the number of self-references and uses of the word “I” in TCM’s speeches?

Why is the unemployment rate not going to go anywhere below the 8 percent TCM promised us that the stimulus would prevent it rising above any time soon?

Why is Iran proceeding unhampered toward having nuclear weapons?

Why does TCM still speak of global warming as settled science?

Why does he rely on czars more than cabinet secretaries?

No, I have not noticed a trend amongst pundits to count the # of references and use of the “I” word, but, then again, I don’t keep track of the @ of pundits I ponder. Posted here is the closing paragraph from the President’s speech to the DNC Sat., and of course he is preaching to the choir that brung him this far, but if you want to you can count the I, I, me me mys, though I don’t see anything but “we’s” here, and a final tribute to that Great American Red Skelton. I wonder whether he too was lying back then as well:

    http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/02/06/politics/main6180710.shtml

“That is who we are, Democrats. After all the promises we’ve made, this is our best chance to deliver change that the American people need. And if we do that, if we speak to the hopes of the American people instead of their fears, if we inspire them instead of divide them, if we respond to their challenges with the same sense of urgency they feel in their own lives, we’re not just going to win elections. Elections will take care of themselves. We will once again be the party that turns around the economy and moves this country forward and secures the American dream for another generation.

“Thanks very much, everybody. God bless.”

As for him not relying on his cabinet, why did he have Bush appointee Gates who I’m sure you wish would quit for your selfish purposes say this and much more about sanctions against Iran?

    http://www.centcom.mil/en/news/gates-irans-nuke-program-a-threat-to-middle-east.html

The secretary praised President Barack Obama’s diplomatic efforts toward Iran, saying he has never seen an administration reach out in as principled and comprehensive a way as the president has. But, Gates added, “the response has been quite disappointing.”

As for the unemployment rate goals not being met, although you and yours insist this is not the purvue of government, although you too promise to do better than that, you got him, not me there. Same on the settled science of the global warming debate, since it’s obviously far from settled, though, you must know as well as i that there is indeed something awry on planet earth environmentally.

I do not think Obama is such a fabulous president and never said so here or elsewhere. But I am far from diagnosing a deep and profound spiritual illness in him, and, so what, if you think so, what’s the cure, wouldn’t it beehove you to save your brother? Of course that’s a big lol etc.

Would you not expect a man to keep pressing on?
You can always hope that perhaps he’ll quit, I suppose, like Sister Palin did. She is sure some model for spiritual fitness, eh?

Yeah, in fact she is. That’s why millions of people admire her.

Count me out, but, hey if she’s president some day maybe we can make her quit again.
